It would be recalled, that the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, NGF, and Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, had advised his colleagues to go for the test, because of their exposure. Police have arrested three butchers for allegedly stabbing a 33-year-old barber in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. The victim, Ajibola Falegan, was stabbed at a viewing centre on Nova Road, Baisiri, on Wednesday evening. The suspects have been detained at a police station on New Iyin Road in Ado-Ekiti after they were arrested about 10.30p.m. Falegan, who is now receiving treatment at a private medical centre, had deep cuts in his head and body. He was said to have been attacked with machetes and knives. Falegan explained that the suspects were having altercation with his younger brother at the viewing centre before he got there but when they saw him, they pounced on him. The police from Zone 2 Command has arrested a 48-year-old herbalist, Ibukun Moses, while attempting to sell human parts.The body parts allegedly belong to a lady identified as Toyin who was brought to the herbalist for treatment but died of an undisclosed illness. Immediately after her death, investigation revealed that the herbalist contacted her family to come and take her for burial. The family then agreed to bury her in a cemetery which the herbalist took them to. However, after the burial was concluded, the herbalist returned to the cemetery to exhume her corpse, cut off her head, the two hands and some other vital organs. An Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has revoked the bail earlier granted to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu. The court presided over by a judge, Binta Nyako, gave the order on Thursday and directed that a bench warrant should be issued for Mr Kanu’s arrest. The court said it has given the order because Mr Kanu had failed to appear in court after his bail was granted in April 2017. The court ruled that the trial must continue and directed that a fresh date for the continuation should be given by parties so that the matter will continue in Mr Kanu’s absence. The case was adjourned till June 18. Mr Kanu, a separatist leader calling for an independent Biafran country, jumped bail when he escaped out of the country. Although Munroe admitted to having sex with the 13-year-old girl, he claimed it was consensual and that the victim seduced him. City Round learnt that the girl’s mother had employed Munroe sometime in August 2018 to be teaching her daughter in their residence at Ajangbadi area of the state. A woman has passed away in a tragic circumstance which has left her family and friends in lament. The deceased identified as Janefrancis Madumere from Mbano in Imo state, died after falling into soakaway pit.
