The police from Zone 2 Command has arrested a 48-year-old herbalist, Ibukun Moses, while attempting to sell human parts.The body parts allegedly belong to a lady identified as Toyin who was brought to the herbalist for treatment but died of an undisclosed illness. Immediately after her death, investigation revealed that the herbalist contacted her family to come and take her for burial. The family then agreed to bury her in a cemetery which the herbalist took them to. However, after the burial was concluded, the herbalist returned to the cemetery to exhume her corpse, cut off her head, the two hands and some other vital organs. Upon his arrest the suspect confessed to have done the act because he needed to sell the body parts to make money he needed.The AIG in charge of Zone 2, AIG LAWAL SHEHU has directed the detectives to ensure proper prosecution.

An Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has revoked the bail earlier granted to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu. The court presided over by a judge, Binta Nyako, gave the order on Thursday and directed that a bench warrant should be issued for Mr Kanu’s arrest. The court said it has given the order because Mr Kanu had failed to appear in court after his bail was granted in April 2017. The court ruled that the trial must continue and directed that a fresh date for the continuation should be given by parties so that the matter will continue in Mr Kanu’s absence. The case was adjourned till June 18. Mr Kanu, a separatist leader calling for an independent Biafran country, jumped bail when he escaped out of the country. City Round learnt that the girl’s mother had employed Munroe sometime in August 2018 to be teaching her daughter in their residence at Ajangbadi area of the state. A woman has passed away in a tragic circumstance which has left her family and friends in lament. The deceased identified as Janefrancis Madumere from Mbano in Imo state, died after falling into soakaway pit. A woman, Ibukun Adebayo is fighting for her life in a hospital after being allegedly hacked with a cutlass by her estranged husband, Kehinde Adebayo. A woman was caught by residents of Akinigbon area of Ibadan, Oyo state, while allegedly attempting to abandon her own 9 month-old child in the area. According to a resident who spoke with Double A Media, the suspect identified as Fatima was nabbed by the residents while allegedly attempting to abandon her own baby on Sunday afternoon. A Japanese company has taken breastfeeding to another level with a new device that allows men to participate. The device has two fake breasts which could trick any baby into thinking that the milk was coming from ‘original source’. The new Japanese product was designed by a company called Dentsu which allows dads to “breastfeed” their babies by using the wearable device that holds milk or formula. The product was showcased at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas and is called the “Father’s Nursing Assistant.” The device has two fake “breasts” and lets dads feed their babies and promotes skin-to-skin contact between fathers and infants. A college student of Prairie View A&M University has been arrested for allegedly pouring bleach in her roommate's eyes. The student, 18-year old Brianna Esomchukwu, has now been charged with aggravated assault. Report say she got into a fight with her roommate, 19-year-old Julisha Wyatt, who complained that their room smelled like weed. However, Brianna Esomchukwu stated that the fight was due to Wyatt always looking her out of the apartment. After the altercation, Julisha Wyatt got s substantial amount of bleach in her house and was rushed to a hospital by an ambulance. A suspected ritualist was subjected to jungle justice earlier today after allegedly killing a young girl in Akenfa, Yenagoa, Bayelsa state.
